About Kobuta&Ookami Restaurant

 

Kobuta & Ookami (Little Pig and Wolf) takes its name from the classic story of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Wolf.

 

We are a locally family-owned restaurant. Our inspiration for this restaurant stems from our love of dining and drinking in the small food alleys under the train tracks in Japan. We were captivated by the vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, and sake culture. Growing up with Japanese animation and traditions, and traveling to Japan many times, we wanted to bring the joy, fun, and rich culinary experiences of Japanese culture to our home in Seattle.

 

Our chefs are deeply passionate about cooking. They specialize in Japanese cuisine and have expertise in sushi, Thai dishes, and fusion cuisine. Our head chef has developed unique recipes inspired by his travels, research throughout Japan and Vancouver, and his extensive culinary study, research, and experience.

 

Enjoy laid-back dining in our warmly furnished space, offering unpretentious Japanese rice dishes.
